Evans-Calfee Funeral Service is conveniently located on Cook Parkway in
Oceana, West Virginia. Founded by Thomas H. Evans in 1946, the Evans-Calfee
staff continues to uphold the tradition of integrity and excellent service
that West Virginia families have come to expect from Evans-Calfee Funeral
Service.
At Evans-Calfee, we believe that serving families is a privilege, and
understand that the loss of a loved one is a very personal experience.
Members of our staff pride themselves in providing a wide variety of choices
to the families we serve, including personalized services, cremation
memorials and traditional funerals.
In 2002, Evans-Calfee Funeral Service was rededicated after being
completely renovated after a flood that destroyed the home’s interior.
Today, Evans-Calfee is a full-service funeral home with care that extends
beyond your time of need to include an array of aftercare services.
Evans-Calfee Funeral Service offers a beautiful 125-seat chapel, which can
be used for visitation as well as services. We also offer an arrangement
room, office, and a lounge that can serve as two additional visitation rooms
when needed.

Originally founded as Robertson & Fogelsong Funeral Home in 1928, the
facility has been known as Calfee Funeral Service since 1975. Today, the
Evans-Calfee staff continues the tradition of integrity, excellent service
and care that Wyoming County families have come to expect.
At Evans-Calfee, services of all kinds are available. We feel that serving
families is a privilege, and understand that the loss of a loved one is a
very personal experience. Members of the staff pride themselves in providing
a wide variety of choices to the families we serve, including personalized
services, cremation memorials and traditional funerals.
The attractive red brick building was constructed as a funeral home in 1959
and encompasses approximately 5,000 square feet. The main viewing room also
serves as a chapel with seating for up to 125 guests. An additional viewing
room and a family lounge are also available at Evans-Calfee.
